Central Montana Family Planning, HIV/STD Clinic, Cancer Screening

Central Montana Family Planning (CMTFP): Safe, confidential, painless, and responsible healthcare. Services are charged using a sliding-fee-scale based on income. They have also a Montana Cancer Screening Program site. Services to both sexes with a focus on reproductive health & personal safety and protection. These services include but are not limited to exams, cancer screenings, sexually-transmitted infection testing & treatment, immunizations, rapid HIV testing (get your confidential result in 20 minutes), birth control methods, and more. We also provide health education, preconception counseling, pregnancy testing, and a variety of other services. Located in the heart of Montana, Central Montana Family Planning has been a fixture of Lewistown for nearly 35 years.

Cancer Screening Program:

The Montana Cancer Screening Program (MCSP, formerly known as the Montana Breast & Cervical Health Program (MBCHP or BCH)) is able to cover most services specifically related to breast, cervical, and colorectal health. This program is available to you through special funding from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). You must re-enroll in the program every year, before you are screened. You will receieve annual re-enrollment reminders from our program administrative site. This program serves women ages 30 - 64. Mammograms are covered after the age of 50. HIV/STD Treatment and Services:

Its purpose is to collaborate with others throughout Montana to prevent the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs), and to help ensure access to treatment and services. The Section also conducts the Rape Prevention Education Program to reduce sexual crimes against Montanans.

Montana Central Tumor Registry (MCTR)

A central state registry of nearly all cancers diagnosed and/or treated in Montana. The MCTR uses a computer data system designed for the collection, storage, management, and analysis of the data collected and maintained.


National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results. SEER data is gathered from 11 geographic areas of the United States. These geographic areas are considered by SEER to be "reasonably representative subsets of the United States population."
