Fergus County Livestock Association - (406) 538-8601. Supports the efforts of livestock producers of Central Montana while educating cattlemen on a number of issues related to the cattle industry.

Fergus County Weed District - (406) 535-3970. Supports the management of noxious weeds in Central Montana by con-trolling their spread.

FFA Chapters - Groups committed to preparing youth for careers in agricultural fields of science, business and technology. For more information, contact the FFA advisor at your public school.

MSU/Fergus County Extension Clubs - (406) 535-3919. Out-reach of Montana State University offering research-based programming and providing producers with timely information. The extension office also provides information on financing and budgeting.

Roy Rodeo Club - (406) 464-2135. Sponsors the Roy Rodeo that is held Father’s Day weekend every year. This groups is also actively involved with the production of the Central Montana High School Rodeo held each August.

Snowy Mountain Wool Pool - (406) 535-3919. A group of sheep producers who market their wool through the wool pool.

Stanford Stampede Club - (406) 566-2422. Sponsors the annual Stanford Stampede held each year in July and works with local communities on community enhancement projects. Also provides college scholarships.

WIFE (Women Involved in Farm Economics) - (406) 428-2280. Organization recognized nationally as an independent women’s grass-roots organization supporting those interest-ed or involved in agriculture.

Health, Safety & Rescue

Hospice of Central Montana - (406) 538-6302. Involves a team of professionals and volunteers who provide end-of-life care to patients and their families in the family’s home with peace, comfort and dignity.

Montana Search and Rescue - (406) 535-6191. Non-profit volunteer organization that works under the sheriff’s department to help when there is an emergency involving a lost person.

Pregnancy Care Center - (406) 535-3511. Helps women in crisis pregnancy or those who need counseling or help, pro-vides free maternity clothing, baby clothing and furniture and makes referrals for local help.

Fergus County Council on Aging - (406) 535-7486. Providing area senior citizens a social setting as well as transportation and well being programs.

Central Montana China Painters - (406) 535-9867. Meets the first Saturday of each month to paint china for pleasure, to sell and to give as gifts. Convention held in Lewistown every five years.
