MSU Extension’s Department of Research Centers

As leaders in their fields, MSU’s College of Agriculture faculty have chosen Bozeman for its dynamic, collaborative and inspiring setting. The MSU College of Agriculture works closely with the Montana Agricultural Experiment Station (MAES), which conducts relevant research for the people of Montana, and MSU Extension, which disseminates research findings through a network of county and reservation offices. Many College of Agriculture faculty and staff are fully or partially funded by MAES and/ or MSU Extension.

Montana’s structure is better suited to recognizing the role of research center faculty in addressing the practical needs of Montana’s agriculture as an underlying tenet for development of research programs. And, in such an environment, You can closely partner and be directly involved with Montana State University’s Extension and outreach activities.
