Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 09/01/2010

   Compared to last week:  Feeder cattle and cows lightly tested.  Slaughter 
cows and bulls sold steady to 2.00 lower.  Demand moderate to good.  
Approximately, 35 percent feeder cattle; 50 percent slaughter cows and bulls 
with the balance feeding cows and misc. cattle.  In the feeder supply, steers 
made up 48 percent and 52 percent heifers with 46 percent over 600 lbs.  

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1:  325-359 lbs 144.00-154.50; 458 lbs 
138.75; 532 lbs 128.75; 615-663 lbs 123.00-125.00; 715-777 lbs 113.50-115.00; 
953 lbs 99.25.
   
   Feeder Heifers:  Medium and Large 1:  458 lbs 128.75; 541-578 lbs 111.00-
116.00; 742 lbs 106.00; 910-936 lbs 99.00-100.25; 1038 lbs 97.00.

   Feeding Cows:  Medium and Large 1-2:  Young 1120-1350 lbs 64.50-71.00; 
Middle Aged 1225-1365 lbs 58.50-62.00; Aged 1125-1380 lbs 52.25-54.50, full
