Sizzling Racing Action in the  Heart of Montana

The Lewistown Drag Racers Association offers a full sea-son of hot racing action. Originally organized in 1956, the first race held in Lewistown was in 1957 on Memorial Day weekend. A state-wide event, approxiamately 200 cars showed up for the week-end of car shows and of course, drag racing.

The track, located three miles west of Lewistown off Highway 87/200, has been kept up by the Lewistown Drag Racers in order to continue in the traditions set so many years ago. The 2011 race season begins in early June and continues through October. Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday time trials are at 11 a.m. with eliminations at 3 p.m. Sunday time trials are at 9 a.m. with eliminations at 1 p.m. A small admission fee is charged to take part in the events.
