· Livestock Committee Date: October 27, Time: 5:30 PM Place: Farm Bureau
· Horse Committee Date: October 27, Time: 7:00 PM Place: Farm Bureau
· Exchange Group Orientation/Interest Meeting Date: Sunday, November 2 Time: 5:30 PM Place: at the Boys and Girls Club If you were not at the first meeting, and would like to participate in the next exchange group, you must attend this meeting. We will review the exchange guidelines and the paper work. This is for all members 13 and older (by October 1, 2008) that might be interested in the exchange, or leaders that would like to apply to be chaperones/key leaders.
· Exchange Group Meeting Date: Sunday, November 2 Time: 6:00 PM Place: at the Boys and Girls Club This will be the first official meeting of this group, everyone planning on participating in this next exchange (2009-2010), should attend. We have some big items on the agenda, Christmas Tree Sales and the Harvest Dinner- plans need to be made!
· FCS Committee Meeting Date: Wednesday, November 19 Time: 4:30 Place: Extension Office This committee is responsible for the following projects: Child Development, Family Adventure, Home Environment, Clothing and Food Projects. Agenda items include planning winter project days for these projects and organizing the spring fashion revue and spring workshop. Clubs with members in these projects should have a representative on this committee. |

Round Table Talks Sunday, November 2 at the Boys and Girls Club Please see the schedule enclosed in this letter. They would like us to park in the paved parking lot in front of the gravel parking lot on the east side and try to avoid parking on the street. |

· Junior Leaders Date: Sunday, November 16 Time: 3:00 PM Place: at the Sheriffs Complex
The snow delayed our start- but here we go! ALL TEEN 4-H members are welcome and encouraged to attend- you do not have to be enrolled in Teen Leadership. We will make plans for the new year and have a little fun. Please be sure to attend so you can make this group what you want it to be! |

Leaders Banquet Door Prizes
The banquet committee is inviting each 4-H club to donate a door prize to be given away at the leaders banquet. The prizes can be delivered to the Extension Office before the banquet, or brought that evening. Your support is appreciated! |

Ambassador News We had both Ambassadors and three perspectives attend this years fall training! They came home re-energized and full of great ideas. Shelby and Katie would like to visit all of the clubs with their program on demonstration dos and don’ts. Invite them early, to help your members prepare for their own presentations. |
