I hope your senior year is going well, and you are enjoying every minute! To add to your list of many thing to do, I wanted to make sure you are aware of the scholarships you can apply for through 4-H.

 

Local Fergus/Petroleum County Scholarships  - Both of these local scholarship application forms are available on our web site

or you may pick up hard copies at the office.

Application Deadline- April 1

Award- One $250 scholarship for any accredited college, university or

Vocational technical school. Paid after the student has successfully completed

Fall semester/quarter.

Eligibility-2008 graduating senior, from Fergus or Petroleum County, with an Ag

Background, currently enrolled in 4-H, and has been a member for at least the

Last 3 years.

Application Deadline- April 1

Award- Four $200 scholarship for any accredited college, university or

Vocational technical school. Paid after the student has successfully completed

Fall semester/quarter.

Eligibility- any graduating senior currently enrolled in 4-H in Fergus or Petroleum County or any 4-H alumni who was enrolled in these counties with in the last   

4 years. Applicants must have been in 4-H for a minimum of four years.

 

Montana State 4-H Foundation- numerous scholarships are available, due May 1 to

the 4-H Foundation in Bozeman. The forms are available on their web site at http://www.montana4h.org/, click on Foundation, Forms and then Scholarships. Click on application forms to down load the criteria for each and the application forms.

*Leaders Council would like to know when you would prefer them to schedule the recognition program for graduating seniors during the fair. Before the Market Sale on Friday, (about 3:30), or on Saturday afternoon, (about 1:00)? Please let me know what would fit best with your schedules, we want to have as many of you present as possible.

 

*Senior Camp will be March 14-16, registration is due March 3. We hope you will come for your last year! Registration forms were in the last two news letters or on our web site.
